So. Hi guys.

Here's the deal...there's this big honkin' fire in Colorado, in a little town called Colorado Springs. Guess where I live?

Yup.

At this point it's on the west side of the interstate and I live on the east, but we're supposed to have winds pushing from the west. AKA pushing the fire right at us. And if it's anywhere as bad as it was yesterday, we are in huge trouble.

Soooooooo I probably won't be around much for a while due to that. I don't know how long exactly; this thing is obviously unpredictable and as far as we were told last night, they don't expect full containment for about a month. AND I am making a surprise trip with my parents out to New York for my grandfather's 80th birthday (that was actually June 15th--don't ask, my aunt decided it), so I will be gone that weekend as well.

I'll pop in now and then if I get the chance. Keep Colorado in mind, our state is literally on fire. And keep Colorado Springs in mind, we desperately need it. Our city is burning to the ground :[

Today was a marginally better day [thank GOD] and we should be getting federal money help sometime soon...we've declared a statewide state of emergency but the governor is trying to get a national state of emergency status so whatever xD I have some friends who were evacuated and THANKFULLY one of them is pretty sure her house is okay, even though her neighborhood was pretty much decimated. I won't bore you with more info lol...OH WE MADE IT ONTO THE BBC SO IT'S THERE.

OHHAY GUYS.

So the fire will be 100% contained as of tomorrow! They still have to actually put the stupid thing out but YAY IT'S NOT GROWING ANY MORE.

Along with that, I am leaving tomorrow for five days. We leave at midnight technically Saturday morning, but we have to drive up to the airport tomorrow night AND before that I have my friend's birthday dinner. We fly back Tuesday but we don't get in until almost 11 and with the time change I'll be tired as hell so I won't get on xD

So Alessa, Emily, Cass, Nate, Will and Jack will not appear in their threads until Wednesday at the earliest.

This time I'll be gone for a longer time...I'll be in NY from tomorrow until the 12th, and then I start in-service stuff for school. The kiddos come back the 23rd(ish, I think that's the day) and I will probably be scarce until I get a better handle on wtf I'm doing lol.
