Nothing has ever been serious for Anthony because Anthony has never had to be serious about anything. There is no problem that can’t be solved by him flashing a winsome smile or his platinum Visa and he suspects that there will never be. He’s used to coasting through life with minimal effort, including his classes, and therefore does not really understand that other people do exert effort in their endeavors. He's always had people to do things for him and doesn't really know how to do things for himself--like cooking, cleaning, or laundry. Even now, not living at home, he has a plethora of girlfriends and admirers who are willing to do most things for him, so long as he flashes a smile and a nice word.
When it comes to relationships, Anthony is all about what can be achieved. He likes girls for sex and friends for having his back, but you’d be hard pressed to find a person in his life that wasn’t expendable. He's a social person and is constantly surrounded by people, whether he likes them or not, and hates being alone. He would gladly take an ugly girl out on a date just for something to do, even if he planned on abandoning her the instant someone more attractive texted him that they were free. He was often alone as a child and playing by himself was never fun, so he plans his life around which people will be where--that is the beauty of being a brother in a fraternity.
As classy as Anthony likes to think he is, he is also definitely a bro. At frat parties, he'll be the first to do a keg stand or take a hit from a beer bong and you can often find him completely trashed and making an ass of himself. He loves throwing parties as long as there are other people to clean up, which there usually are. Now that he is the president of the frat, he has countless underlings to do the dirty work like that for him. Though he can be a tyrant in regards to that, Anthony makes a great president. He is good at being in charge of things and he loves it because he loves having people listen to him. He's very diplomatic, committing to nothing like the best of the politicians, and knows exactly how to give an answer without actually giving an answer.
Talents & Skills: Getting what he wants, talking to people, dating, fishing, aquatic activities.
Weaknesses: Humility, contact sports, writing.
Likes: Fishing, boating, working out, girls, expensive things, talking, being in charge, booze, partying.
Dislikes: Ugly girls, nerds, working, lame parties, cops, tea.

Anthony was born to parents sixteen years apart in age. By the time Max Beaumont married the twenty-three year old Betsy, he was already a well-established businessman in South Florida, finally looking to settle down. Betsy was a debutante from North Carolina and had come to Florida for college, choosing Boca for its abundance of rich people and single businessmen. She and Max were perfect for each other--each was looking for exactly what the other had to offer--and they only dated for a few months before they announced their engagement. Once married, Betsy adjusted well to her life as a trophy wife, spending her days at the country club or shopping.
A year later and Betsy was pregnant with their first and only child. Soon after Anthony was born (named after her grandfather), it was discovered that Betsy had an ovary problem that would not allow her to safely give birth again, and so she had an operation and Anthony was destined to be an only child.
This worked out just fine for Anthony. When he was younger, he often wished that he had a younger brother or sister to play with, but this was assuaged by the children he played with in day care and all of her society friends' children that he had playdates with almost daily and, by the time he was ten, he had abolished that thought and was perfectly content to be the apple of his parents' eye and the only person receiving their attention. His father worked frequently, so his attention was harder to come by, but being that he had started a family later on in life, Max Beaumont knew the value of having people around who loved you and he always tried to make sure that he had time for his wife and child.
Being from a wealthy family, Anthony never had a problem getting anything he wanted. He was always an adorable child (he even did some modeling as a toddler, though he wouldn't remember if it weren't for the pictures) and all he had to do to get anything anywhere was flash everyone his award-winning toothy grin and most adults fell over themselves trying to make him happy.
This was a habit he kept up through life--he charmed girls, teachers, his parents, his friends. He almost always had people looking up to him, especially because he went to a public school where he could have people looking up to him. From middle school onward, his sport was swimming and he worked that Speedo to his advantage at every meet. He was never lacking for a date or a ride somewhere and, if he ever needed something done, he just needed to tell one of the underclassmen that he appreciated them and thought they were going far--putty in his hands.
His high school life was spent as one might expect it to have been--there were countless "classy" parties that usually ended in everyone puking off a balcony, he had a different date almost every week, and he had more sex than any teenager really should. Everything always came so easy to him and he always had fairly good grades. The problem with this was that, when it came time to choose a college, he just assumed that he would get in everywhere he applied. He sent applications out to three Ivy Leagues and two schools in Florida as backups, assuming he would just get into all of them.
The rejection from the Ivy Leagues came as a huge shock for him, since he had never before been rejected from anything. He knew that if he could just get an interview, he would be able to get in, but they had flat out denied him and he couldn't try again. His father couldn't buy his way in because they weren't that wealthy and so the only thing that was left to do was wait for his inevitable acceptance to Orange Island University and the University of Florida. The bigger blow to his ego was the fact that the University of Florida didn't accept him--the Ivy League schools were one thing, being the most prestigious schools in the country--but this was just a generic state school. What the hell were they doing rejecting him?
The acceptance to Orange Island University was both insulting and relieving, because it meant that he could safely tell his friends that he had been accepted at all of his choices, but decided that OIU was the best fit for him, since he would be near his own boat and his own family. A few other people from his school were going there as well, but most people he cared about had been accepted to the other state schools and were going farther away.
This wasn't a problem for Anthony, though. He was not one to get attached to people unless they were particularly useful or sexy and making new friends at his new university was easy, especially once he rushed Delta Kappa Epsilon. It was like Anthony had been born to be a Brother--he loved having the parties, the friends, the girls. It didn't take him long to move up in the ranks and soon, he knew everyone in his frat, in the neighboring frats, and most of the sororities. It was only natural that, in the spring of his junior year, he got elected to be president for the year ahead.| E X T R A S |

As the president of DKE, Anthony was subject to doing a lot of things that he wouldn't have thought to do. It was almost solely his job to think of ways tohazechallenge the new pledges, his responsibility to acquire alcohol for their parties, and his responsibility to make sure that they had funding for all of these events. For the most part, Anthony was good at delegating these tasks to other people, but this occasionally took more effort than he really wanted to expend and that was annoying.
Today, however, was an easy task. DKE was planning a themed party to bring in the summer and the new pledges for them and their sister sorority, tri-delta, and it was Anthony's job to run the committee and make sure everything went well. Unfortunately, Anthony didn't know anything about parties, except that he was usually drunk and always took a girl home. He didn't even know the theme because he hadn't bothered to find out, but he figured that the girl he was going to see did and that she would be happy to help.
He walked up the delta delta delta lawn, waving to the younger women as he did, winking and complimenting when necessary. He didn't see the president of tri-delta anywhere, which could have meant that she wasn't in, but which hopefully just meant that she was inside the house, terrorizing her fellow sisters. One of the older members, who had been tanning on the front lawn, let him into the house and after winking out his thanks, Anthony stepped inside.
"Ruby," he called, his smooth voice loud and carrying. "It's me, Anthony. Come out, come out, wherever you are." He leaned against the door frame and folded his arms, watching the staircase for the elusive president to come down.| P L A Y E R |
