Abby's voice kind of faded, and then went silent. Had Teddy been joking about the donuts or meeting up? No fault of Teddy's. Abby had been a bit presumptious to really think an out-of-the-blue meeting would be welcome so easily...and people wondered why Abby hated socializing so often. Freaking minefield to her.
"....so, just skip the donuts then?"
