Rush? What's that?
"Rush" is how you join a sorority or fraternity. You select your chapter based on your interests/their reputation and sign up--although here, we only have one. There are others in general, but there is only one you can sign up for. The sorority chooses who they want to let rush. You pay the rushing fee and then they all but own you for the next few weeks while they decide who is worthy of being welcomed into their sisterhood/brotherhood.
When do I Rush?
Generally, Greek organizations hold Rush once a semester. You do not have to be a Freshman to rush. However, occasionally at OIU, rush is held more frequently.
Where do I Rush?
Go find your sorority/fraternity in Greek Row [in the Orange Island University category] and reply to their membership list! Remember, if you're older, you don't have to rush--you can say you were accepted in rush in your freshman year. Of course, again, you can rush at any time in your school career, so feel free to join the rush festivities!
BUT WAIT! I still have questions! D:
Feel free to PM an admin with anything else you'd like to know!
