Something is missing.
Prometheus, Titan of Forethought, has charged the Romans with the task of finding the missing artifact. And a direct order from an immortal is not something to be ignored. Especially when it comes under the label of ‘extremely dangerous in the wrong hands.’ Mixed with the augury from the camp augur, the Romans can tell one thing: something has descended upon New Rome, veiled in shadow, that has the power to bring it to a glory it has never seen, or level it to the ground. Whether this is in connection with the missing artifact, or something (or someone) else is yet to be determined. But do the Romans dare risk their honor and the wrath of the immortals and disobey?
The camp augur is working overtime trying to figure out what’s going on and what they are to do, and his auguries along with lengthy discussions in the Senate, have decided the time has come to choose those who will travel on a journey to fetch the powerful relic. Assuming the power slowly infiltrating Rome doesn’t make its move first.
