Tom is generally a pretty easy kid to get along with. His personality is described bit by bit in the app but overall he's really just that passive gentleman that will not go out of his way to help but if you ask, he'll do his utmost. He's charming when engaged and can be a bit shy and awkward when flustered, as per most. Flaws would include mostly his stubborn streak and he's a bit of a know-it-all though he tries not to make it obvious.

I'm open for any type of plot when it comes to him with anyone~ Just because he likes Aria doesn't mean he's strictly bound to that, though he'd like to think otherwise. The requests I posted were just something I thought might make life interesting, I don't think there's much stock in any of it. XDD SO: HE'S A BLANK SHEET. I can't wait to get plotting with you guys~ ;w;

Tom & Orion[/color]

WELL NOW. Orion is an English professor at OIU and he’s a particularly chilly individual. Although he’s not rude, per say, his lack of body language and facial expressions really perturb most people and he quite likes it that way. Keeps people from meddling in his affairs (not that he really has anything to hide). Since they both flirt in the literature department, they are bound to know who each other are. Unfortunately, Orion isn’t particularly keen on the company of people and is renowned for being quite snide and standoffish. No ideas are coming to my immediate mind, but if you have something to propose, I’d love to hear it.

Tom & Rafi[/color]

Rafi is loud, cocky, and enjoys a stiff drink. Unfortunately, he doesn’t attend OIU, so I can’t imagine these two would ever cross paths.

Tom & Ari[/color]

This pair is the pair that I see as having the most threading ability. Ari is a young, rising star athlete who lives his life to play soccer. He doesn’t do very well in school and is an overt hooligan in the classroom. As such, I think these two may butt heads. Ari may cause rife in Tom’s classroom and require tutoring for his poor academic performance. Since he is attending OIU on a athletic scholarship, the school wants to keep him around and doesn't want to have to expel him for failing grades. Perhaps, per encouragement of the campus, Tom is instructed to tutor Ari in English/literature? Of course, Ari wouldn’t be the obedient, willing pupil and could certainly start giving the poor professor a few gray hairs. Anyways, let me know what you think!

Ah, yes, sweet little Chai. Chai is a breed of gentleman who is both charming and gracious. Recently moving to the island after growing up in the Netherlands and spending years abroad in Spain and Italy, his English is less than intelligible. Although he does try, he does sometimes have to revert to interpretive dance to get his point across. He’s caring and, in a sense, quite motherly to his friends and acquaintances. Studying at OIU, he’s bound to take some literature classes.

Anyways, I'd be happy to have your input/subtractions/additions/etc. on any of the above. If you have any ideas of your own, I'd love to hear them! Cheers.

Tom && Orion:
I could definitely see these two knowing each other, possibly exchanged a few civil words over the coffee machine or such but, aside from that-- lemme think on it! I feel like there might be something there... but I dunno what yet~!

Tom && Rafi:
Haha, agreed, I doubt these two would ever get to know each other. If they did, they might become simple, unlikely friends though because from what I've seen, he's a little bit like Kylar but I see more of that in Ari.

Tom && Ari:
Yes! I absolutely love this idea! Tom would love to be a tutor for Ari! Ari from what I've briefly managed to gather could easily remind poor Tom a lot of his childhood best friend Kylar who died when they were both seventeen. He's a soccer player just like the other and a bit of a troublemaker, you say-- so I could see him very quickly becoming dear to Tom. Not... in a creepy way, maybe more of a "I want you to do well and I'm gonna help not matter what" kind-of a way~ And he would make Tom cry at graduation but that's not happening any tme soon. Just kidding. XD I'm totes game for this idea and the development of it though, because it certainly needs an exciting plot twist too >D~

Tom && Chai:
Aww, Chai seems to be the most like Tom in terms of temperament so they'd probably get along amiably. >w<; Also, they're both foreigners so I could see Tom also prodding Chai a little in the help department with his English if you wanted. Aside from that, he could be in the literature club Tom runs on campus. 8D He could be president mayhaps? Or, maybe one day after class they're talking and decide to come up with the idea to do it? I dunno, that last part is pure ideas~ Feel free to shoot it down if it's not quite Chai's thing. XDD

Weeeell, they are the same age aroundabouts. Drake is generally antisocial because he hates everything, but he's not mean or anything [...much]. I could see them being casual acquaintances? >> xD

I think this is fantastic! I would love to see Ari absolutely resent him at first but slowly begin to warm-up to him. Even, god forbid, look up to him. Ari is a little bit of a hooligan and would cause Tom all sorts of grief, but he’s really a nice guy deep down. And I mean deep, deep, quite deep down, but once he feels the need to show his more vulnerable, warmhearted side, he will.

Chai is a complete social butterfly and would absolutely be thrilled over a literature club! Not that he’d have ANY idea what was going on, but he’d sit around and nod enthusiastically. Unfortunately for poor Chai, he’s really quite smart, but he just can’t show it because of the language barrier and quite often gets thought of as stupid or slow from his peers. I think the opportunity for him to show that he is a free-thinking, intelligent human being would be fantastic for him.

Sophia + Thomas Sophia likes books which would lead to her being in the literature club so they could interact through that perhaps.

Here I would usually post a plot for Lori but she really wouldn't have a reason to be around him.

Steven + Thomas They are about the same age so they could maybe be friends. The meeting would perhaps be a bit difficult but with a bit of work we could probably do it.

@sofia & chai: I think since Sophia wants to be in the club maybe she could be part of the planning thread too? Perhaps say one day after class Tom is on his way out and swings by next to Chai with this idea and they discuss it a bit in his office. Perhaps Sofia could stop by after a few posts for a homework assignment or looking for someone or something and she overhears them and becomes intrigued. Then they all three could get this thing off the ground? 8D

Well, I see he's a medical examiner with a cat: maybe something happens to Tom's cat, it starts acting strangely, and he stops by for a little visit wondering if maybe there's any advice Steven could give him regarding it. It could be just a little social stop that starts with a purpose. Tom might just be curious to see if xyz has ever happened to Steven's cat and how he dealt with it instead of going straight to the vet. Yes, no? XD;;; I could try other ideas~ Plus I think they'd be really cute friends~!

He just moved to Orange Island though so maybe they met when he was back in England? Perhaps she was on vacation and took a class or something IDK! XDDDD; Or maybe she, um um... met him on one of his vacations, I dunno~ Any ideas? xD
